1. As soon as you receive the blender, please add some water inside the container to test. DO NOT run it without anything inside as it's bad for the coupling system. DO NOT grind dry ingredients over 1 minute.

Like buying a new car it will have some smell, it's a normal situation when you use it at the beginning it may have some smell even slight smoke comes from the motor, but don't worry, that is because the new motor is heating lubricant which is coated on electrical coils, it will go away after few more times use.
